An unbelievable experience! Pete Emrick handled the replacement of the roof, met with the insurance adjusters multiple times, and while only a partial recovery for hail damage, I decided to replace the entire roof. 18 men showed up to ensure replacement before rain. It was done with incredible professionalism. Pete returned the next day to make sure all debris was cleaned up and had minor gutter repair immediately completed. I lost count of how many roofers crawled around on my roof and gave me an estimate but there were at least 6 or 7. I learned after talking to them all that there are many roofing companies who will not deal with a certain insurance company, the insurance company that I have! This company deals with my insurance company often and knows exactly what to expect and prepares the client for what to expect. Jason Pentecost, a project manager for Universal Roofing & Construction, put an end to my search for a competent roofing company because after what he had to say, I knew I would chose this company. Jason’s enthusiasm immediately grabbed me and his knowledge is extensive, his attitude very positive and upbeat and his energy surpasses that of all of the rest that I spoke with. He is the only roofer of the many that crawled on my roof who knew my shingles had been discontinued. My decision proved to be the right one. Jason was there for me during every step of the process and was willing to discuss the aspects of each step in detail with a listening ear. Jason was on my roof with the insurance inspector each time the insurance inspector came. He replied to my texts in a timely manner or would call and not once did I feel frustrated. He went several times to get sample boards for me and tried to figure out what I wanted in color and design. Jason informed me of the integrity of each of my shingle choices. He sent me YouTube videos of my shingle choices, pictures of houses with any roofing choice I made until I was able to narrow my choices down to one. This takes time and patience on Jason’s part. When it came time for the actual roofing job, Jason prepared me for what to expect and kept his promise to be on sight until the job was finished. And during the day of roofing, Jason sent many drone pictures of each roofing stage. Due to so many folks on my roof, my roof was finished in one day, before the start of darkness, including cleanup, which was done efficiently. I am very pleased with the quality of work and I love my new roof! The crew that was used for my job were efficient, organized and managed properly which says a lot.
