I highly recommend Universal Roofing. We worked with Kyle and he made the entire process stress free and smooth-running. Kyle came on site several times to assess hail and wind damage with a drone fly over and physically going onto the roof to inspect and visibly mark damaged areas before the insurance adjuster arrived. He was helpful in being on site during the adjuster visit as well. The workers showed up very early and completed the job in one day. Only some minor cleanup remained for the following morning. I could actually write a very long response, however, I will try to be brief.
Jason arrived at my house at the appointed time. From the moment I showed him the leak in my closet, he went into action. He is like a sleuth. He climbed into the "crevices" of my attic and systematically located the exact spot where the leak was displaying. He then went outside and logically located the spot on the roof where he tenaciously located the issue. He not only explained the issue but gave me a detailed explanation of how he fix it. All of this while is was starting drizzle. He then proceeded to repair the breach.
I honestly have not seen that type of dedication and work ethic in quite a few years from a contractor. I cannot overstate how, though initially perplexing, undaunting Jason was in determining the cause. I was completely impressed with his character and integrity. Thanks to DJ Coots and the team at Universal Roofing we have the newest most beautiful roof in the neighborhood. We had been talking about having our roof inspected when I saw Universal Roofing (D J Coots) inspecting a neighbor’s roof. I slowed and waved, wanting to stop, but not wanting to infringe on my neighbor’s time. Thankfully, DJ picked up on my interest and was on our roof within the hour. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable about roofs and insurance companies. He took us through the process from beginning to end. I still can’t get over how great the roofing crew was, fast and efficient, tidy and polite. Not a nail was left behind! My husband and I trusted DJ’s instincts in the roof color and he nailed it!

Austin Baldwin of Universal Roofing and Construction went above and beyond throughout the entire process of our roof replacement project. In fact, prior to our coming to an agreement regarding the date of the installation, my family and I were scheduled to leave town for vacation. We had several holes located along the lower border of our roof that were large enough to give raccoons and squirrels easy access to our attic. Austin arrived at our house on the morning that we were scheduled to leave and secured the holes for us at no charge. Giving us a piece of mind that our HVAC system and other wiring would be protected while we were away. AWESOME!!!
He took the time to explain each phase of the process, and detailed the benefits and expectations of all of our available options. He went out of his way to minimize our out of pocket expense and offered the best quality materials that would ensure the best possible end result in the interest of protecting our most valued investment.
